Jason Shockey

Jason Shockey’s professional life began in 1993. After graduating from High School at the top 10% of his class, Jason joined the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from recruit training in Parris Island as the platoon honor graduate, the highest award. He was trained as an Aviation Electrician in Lemoore, CA and graduated meritoriously at the top of his class. He served his country from 1993-1997, both domestically and abroad.

After his discharge from the military, Jason was employed with the United Parcel Service as a supervisor. Within six months of service, at 22 years old, Jason was managing and training half of the managers in his area. Jason knew, however, that he could accomplish bigger and better things. In 1999, he moved to New York where he secured a position in the start-up office of one of the most successful media buying services in the country, Outdoor Vision. Jason became the media buyer for Atlantic and Elektra Records, purchasing media space for artists including Kid Rock, Brandy, Fat Joe, and many others. He also won the Warner Music account for the company’s Los Angeles office. Jason and others helped grow the New York office to $33 million in billings within three years. In 2003, the company was sold to Carat North America, a division of Eagis Worldwide, and Jason retired to Spain at the age of 27.

In 2004, Jason returned to the United States and co-founded The Great Outdoor Network. The Great Outdoor Network is a system designed to simplify the process of planning and buying outdoor advertising in the United States. Equipped with a Request for Proposal (RFP) tool and a comprehensive directory of companies, the network helped to drastically and efficiently minimize the time necessary to request, collect, and formulate data into a detailed, workable media plan. After funding the initial startup of the company, and leveraging key industry contacts to ensure the network’s success, Jason left the company with his brother Robert to pursue new goals and objectives.

At 30 years of age, Jason decided to pursue his lifelong dream of a higher education. He attended the Dale Carnegie Training in public speaking and human relations, where he graduated with the highest award of achievement. Jason then propelled himself into academic life at Keiser University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary studies concentrating on Business Administration, Human Resources, and Management of Information Systems.

In 2009, a year before graduating from college, Jason started developing his present company Total Home Solution of South Florida. THS is a marketing arm for the top-rated companies in Home-improvements and focuses on lead generation, human resources, and business analytics. THS is still an active and successful company with gross sales in excess of $2 Million year over year.

In April 2011, Jason started developing Tunes For Tots Worldwide. Tunes for Tots is a community of extraordinarily talented artists that have come together as a team, in cities around the world, to produce events that benefit children’s charities. What began in 2011 with a small group of singers in Fort Lauderdale has now grown to almost 1700 artists worldwide and the organization has raised over $100,000 for children’s charities.

Jason will be 40 years old on 12/10/2015.
